MEC LEHARI CONTINUES TO CREATE SAFER ENVIRONMENT THROUGH DISINFECTION OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT RANKS

North West Community Safety and Transport Management MEC Sello Lehari continue with thorough disinfection of taxi ranks in the Province.

With intentions of creating safer environments in the public transport and encouraging drivers, operators and commuters to comply with all COVID-19 regulations, MEC Lehari will lead the team to decontaminate the Mogwase Taxi rank in the Moses Kotane Local Municipality.

MEC started the project of disinfecting public transport ranks in Moretele as part of commemorating Mandela Day last month, and saw it fit to continue with the activity throughout the Province, realizing a need of creating safer environment for communities to combat the spread of COVID-19.
